Moonstone is pale, milky, often with a soft blue-white sheen that lifts off the surface when you turn it in light. The effect looks a little like moonlight on water. Some pieces are cloudy, some almost clear, all with that inner glow.
People reach for moonstone when they want to listen more than they talk. It has a reputation for tuning up inner listening, especially the quiet gut sense that gets drowned out during busy weeks. Good on a nightstand. Good in a pocket during a decision-making stretch. Good on an altar during any moon phase, but especially near the full.
Feldspar with adularescence, the shimmer effect that gives moonstone its name. Mostly from India and Sri Lanka.
You'll be sent the one intuitively chosen for you.
