Labradorite looks like plain grey stone until it catches the light, and then a flash of blue or green or gold moves across the surface like something waking up. It's a stone for the moments you need your own instincts louder than the noise around you, a decision everyone has an opinion on, a room full of people telling you what they'd do instead. Keep it in a pocket on a day you need to trust your own read on something, or hold it before you make a call you can't take back. It's a feldspar mineral, and that shifting flash, called labradorescence, comes from thin layers inside the stone bending light rather than any surface coating. Turn it slowly and the color moves with it, sometimes across the whole piece, sometimes only at one angle. It's polished into a smooth tumble. You'll be sent the one intuitively chosen for you. Trust the flash before you second-guess it.
