Septarian is the stone that looks like a cracked geode from the outside, only the cracks are filled with yellow calcite and brown aragonite. Look at it long enough and it starts to look like sunlight caught in stone.
People pick up septarian when they want something warm in the hand that still feels grounded. It has a reputation for helping steady the nervous system during long or public-facing work. Good on the desk of someone who teaches, coaches, or leads groups. Good in the palm during meditation that keeps getting interrupted by other people's needs.
Formed as sedimentary concretions that cracked as they dried, then filled in over time with calcite (yellow), aragonite (brown), and limestone. Mostly from Madagascar.
Palm-sized, one piece per order. You'll be sent the one intuitively chosen for you.
