Labradorite looks gray until you tilt it, and then the flash comes out. Blue, gold, green, sometimes purple, depending on the angle and the light. That flash is called labradorescence, and it's caused by light bouncing between microscopic layers inside the stone.
The palm stone shape is the version to hold, not display. Smooth on both sides, curved to sit in the hollow of a hand, meant to be picked up when you need to come back to yourself.
Labradorite has a long reputation as a boundary stone for people who absorb other people's energy. Empaths, therapists, teachers, anyone whose job involves being around a lot of nervous systems. Keep one in a bag or on the desk and reach for it when the day starts pulling in too many directions.
You'll be sent the one intuitively chosen for you.
