Black Moonstone Tumble

Black moonstone is the darker end of the moonstone family. Silvery gray to charcoal base, with a soft flash (called adularescence) that shifts under light. Some pieces show hints of peach or blue in the flash.

Moonstone as a family works with cycles. Menstrual cycles, moon cycles, the emotional cycles that arrive on their own schedule whether you plan for them or not. The black version is the one people reach for during the new moon phase or the dark half of a season.

Put a tumble under the pillow during a new moon, in a pocket on the days when a big feeling is coming and the source isn't clear yet, or on an altar during any ritual timed to the darker half of the moon. It's a stone for the going-inward part of the cycle, not the coming-out.

You'll be sent the one intuitively chosen for you.
