Scolecite is a soft, milky white to clear zeolite that forms in fibrous or bladed clusters, and the tumbled pieces show a pearly luster where the fibers were polished smooth.

It's a quiet stone. The kind people reach for when the day has been loud and the head won't settle for sleep. Scolecite belongs in the small handful of zeolite stones that work on the nervous system more than the mind, which is why it lands on nightstands more than desks.
