Tektite is a dark glassy stone formed when a meteor hit the earth hard enough to melt the surrounding rock and throw it back into the atmosphere. The pieces that cooled during that flight are what land in a shop like this one.
The surface reads like frozen molten glass. Pitted, rough, blackish brown to true black, with occasional ripples where the material cooled mid-tumble. Every piece has a different shape because the flight was different.
People use tektite for connection work. Meditation, altered-state practice, and any spiritual practice that involves the feeling of stepping outside ordinary time. It's a natural pair for meteorite in a grid, though tektite is more accessible in size and price. Set one on the altar or hold it during a longer breath practice.
You'll be sent the one intuitively chosen for you.
